Doctor Who Day
Date/Time
02/11/2013
All Day
Location
Dylan Thomas Centre
With the Twelfth Doctor recently revealed as Peter Capaldi, what better way to celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who than to come along to the Dylan Thomas Centre on Saturday 2 November for an all-day extravaganza? With a variety of events, there’s something for everyone, from a visit from Louise Jameson -Leela of the Sevateem, Tom Baker’s spirited companion – to the Origins of the Daleks and Terry Nation by historian Alwyn Turner . There’s a very special Doctor Who art workshop for children with world-famous comics artist Mike Collins, and a Writers’ Panel featuring some of the writers from Doctor Who, Torchwood, and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Come join the celebrations as the TARDIS—and everyone’s favourite Time Lord—turns 50 during this year’s Dylan Thomas Festival.
