Telegram outlining Dylan Thomas’ critical condition
A telegram sent in early November 1953 outlining Dylan Thomas’s critical condition in America.
The text reads: “To Jenkins, 28 Brunswick Street, South Wales – Thomas condition unchanged critical allowed no visitors – stop -doctors been completely puzzled over complaint originally suspecting diabetes because of coma – stop – no firm diagnosis yet forthcoming – stop – shall keep in touch and report later”.
