We’ve been shortlisted!

2017 was a busy year for us at the Dylan Thomas Centre, with plenty of children’s activities, family events and community outreach projects, as well as having our Love the Words exhibition open for 357 days of the year…

However, our hard work has all been made worthwhile as we have been shortlisted as one of the Top 5 venues in the ‘Best Family Venue’ category of the Fantastic for Families Awards!

The Fantastic for Families Awards are a UK-wide competition for arts and cultural venues, and with over 500 venues in the UK who are accredited with the Family Arts Standards badge, we are ecstatic to be shortlisted!

Fantastic for Families is run by the Family Arts Campaign, a national collaborative programme funded by Arts Council England and led by the visual and performing arts sectors to increase levels of arts engagement by families.

We’ll be attending the awards evening at 6pm on Thursday 1 March, in Leeds.
