Holiday Memory Postcards

Our family-friendly Learning Space has been open throughout the school holidays for visitors to drop in and take part in a series of creative activities, all based on Dylan Thomas’ broadcast, ‘Holiday Memory’.

With different materials set out on each table, children and their families could make their own comic, write a summer holiday story or a seaside senses poem, make a bookmark or create their own puppet show.

One of the most popular tables included materials to decorate and write a postcard, complete with excerpts of ‘Holiday Memory’ to use as writing prompts.
