‘Love the Words’ on World Book Day

World Book Day took place on 5 March this year, and to celebrate we welcomed pupils from Danygraig Primary and Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn to the Dylan Thomas Centre. The students from Pen-y-Bryn helped the youngsters from Danygraig to explore our ‘Love the Words’ exhibition and complete their quiz sheets.

After that we read a section of Dylan’s broadcast, ‘Reminiscences of Childhood’, where he talks about Cwmdonkin Park, and how it inspired him. This then inspired us to create our own fantastic drawings of Dylan’s park.
