Major funding boost for Dylan Thomas exhibition
Swansea’s world famous Dylan Thomas exhibition has been given a major boost in time for the 100th anniversary of his birth this October.
Swansea Council has successfully applied to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a grant of £935,700 that will lead to a new-look exhibition and community outreach programme to ensure more people than ever across the city and beyond benefit from Dylan’s legacy.
Access to the exhibition will be improved, artefacts are being digitised and new information telling their stories and histories will be developed. The permanent exhibition room, the temporary exhibition room and education room at the Dylan Thomas Centre will all be refurbished.
